His Majesty The King's Coronation 

Villagers enjoyed getting together to celebrate the Coronation by joining in with The Big Picnic Lunch on Sunday 7th May on the Jubilee Field. 

Homes and gardens were decorated with bunting, flags and royal themed scarecrows.

The weekends celebrations were kicked of with 'A Right Royal Knees Up' in the Village Hall on the 6th May, hosted by Newchurch Social Club. 

There was a Coronation Church Service at St Peter and St Paul on Sunday 7th to welcome the new King.
