Burglarly Reported in Newchurch

A house in Newchurch was burgled on Sunday 8th September during the hours of 10am to 4pm, neighbours reported a black car parked nearby and a similar vehicle has been implicated in other burglaries in Hamstreet.  Please be vigilant and report any information to the police on 101.

Saturday 12th October starting at 6:30pm for a meal at 7.00pm in St Peter & St Paul Church.
 

This year we will be providing a hot 2 course meal - main and desert - prepared by the fabulous cooks of our Coffee Morning fame!  


Cost will be £8 per adult, or £15 for 2 adults; and only £2 per child - over 2 and under 13 for Child price.

Please bring your own drinks.

To allow proper preparations, please call Diana to reserve your seats before Sunday 6th October on 01303 311779. Payment on the evening please by cash or cheque.

Raffle prizes most welcome on the evening or in advance!

Village Hall coffee mornings will be held every Saturday in the Social Club except for the first Saturday in the month.  Proceeds are in aid of the Village Hall

BRIDGE WEIGHT LIMIT
Wenhams Lane, Old Romney

From 1st July 2019

The bridge on Wenham Lane in Old Romney has structural issues and it is unsafe for use by heavy vehicles.  From 1st July there will be a weight restriction order.
