Newchurch Defibrillator (AED)

Our AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is located at the Village Hall to the right of the main doors under the canopy.

Ring 999 before going to the AED and the emergency services will advise you further.

The unit is designed to be used by anyone – no training is required.  When the unit is opened,  voice instruction will guide the user through the process. It is automatic,  and will check the heart rhythm to confirm that a shock is required.

Mike Barclay is the Newchurch correspondent for the Kent Messenger.
